"Meditation was a last resort for me after suffering a life altering head injury. After the injury I was subject to a few unfamiliar side affects such as anxiety, head aches, panic attacks and I lost the ability to socialise. This was very unlike me and it was frightening. I was introduced to Will who immediately made me feel comfortable and that I was doing the right thing. Naturally I was skeptical but felt like I needed to try it as nothing else had worked. Several days after my weekend with Will I had a phone call from a friend asking how my head was and if the anxiety was still bad, I had to pause a second…. It was then I realised that my head aches were gone, the anxiety were gone and the panic attacks were gone! I’m so happy meditation found me. Since starting I have continued and felt countless benefits from it. The main one being the impact it’s had on an old neck problem. It somehow takes over the movement of my neck and manipulates it until the pain has gone. This happens in all of my meditations, once I open my eyes I get a sensation of relief. I could go on for hours but the best thing I can say is everyone is different and it’ll give you an individual experience depending on what you need. #bestpartofmyday "

"With the expert teaching and guidance of Will and Jess, the simple, effortless Beeja meditation technique has enabled me to establish a regular, sustainable meditation practice for the first time in my life, (having previously tried breath meditation, mindfulness, yoga and read numerous ” self help” books.) "Thanks again for an eye-opening and actually rather astonishing course. I already think it’s the best money I have spent this year. His passion is certainly infectious, made more so because it is also supported and complimented by his in-depth knowledge of techniques, history and practices. His is an extremely convincing story since he is someone who came to meditation via his own personal experience and choice – he knows what he is talking about. I found the sessions informative, hugely interesting and left with plenty of food for thought. The 20 min meditation that he taught us was different to other techniques that I have done before which were based strongly on visualization. Will’s technique is comparatively introspective, allowing you to explore on your own and setting you free to meditate on a more individual level. "I have been doing various types of meditation on and off for a few years but most of them require too much time to fit into a daily routine. I initially thought that a meditation based on a mantra wasn’t for me but I was open to try after a friend recommended me so highly to Will Williams Meditation. And two months down the line, I am enjoying it so much, I would recommend it to anyone. Surprisingly, I really like having a mantra and the one I was given really resonates with me. The 20 minutes meditation is reasonably easy to fit in the daily routine though on hectic/social days, it can be a bit more challenging. But the meditation makes me feel so nice (I can feel warmth around my heart) that finding the time for it is a priority for me. I prefer to meditate at home but I also do it on the tube when I am in a rush in the morning. The best conditions for meditation though are when I go to the group meditation. The energy of the group makes the meditation so lovely and powerful. And it is always nice to meet like-minded people and, for those who want, share the journey we are on. One last thing I must mention, is that the meditation would energise me after a poor night sleep and is making wonders when flying, no jet lag! "

"As a mum that works full time I really look forward to those two little pockets of time in the day that I dedicate to meditation. The sleep I’m getting since I started mediating is good quality sleep and although I only manage 7 hours (and sometimes less if any little people get up in the night) I feel like I’ve had the 9 hours I would like to get! At weekends my 4 year old has taken to sitting quietly next to me while I mediate. Sometimes he just sits (and watches me, I think) and sometimes he looks at a book. It is now part of the weekend routine and he seems to look forward to it as much as I do. Better sleep is just one of the benefits. Being calmer and more tolerant of dirty dishes not put in the dishwasher or clothes not quite getting in the laundry basket but falling by it (every single time!) as well as people grabbing me at work as I’m trying to run out of the door and the long commute back to Essex every day. Life just seems a bit more vivid and full of energy which is great for me but also my son and husband too. "

Having tried counselling, hypnotherapy and other forms of meditation, I can say that Beeja meditation is the one which has been life-changing for me. For the first time in my life, I can sleep and think calmly before reacting to circumstances.

Unlike other forms of meditation, Beeja meditation does not require to free your mind of all thoughts but to simply let those thoughts flow over you while concentrating on a mantra and in time, those thoughts become all but a distant murmur in the background.

"I’d had IBS for about 7 years, which was getting progressively worse as time went on before I met Will. I went to one of his introductory talks and he said that the meditation he taught could not only cure IBS, but had a whole host of other awesome benefits. Just being in the same room made my stomach feel better (which was hurting at the time!) so I thought I’d take a chance. It’s been about 4 months since I started meditating using the technique Will taught me and I’ve had 1 tummy upset because I ate something bad. Anyone who suffers from IBS will understand what a miracle that is! My morning poo is one of my favourite times of day. I’ve never been so regular in my life and it’s awesome!! No more trapped wind, bloatedness, cramps….it’s magic. I had always considered myself a pretty chilled person, but there is a lot of background stress in life that I had never really noticed consciously, but was having a massive effect on my everyday life. "My friend introduced me to Beeja meditation and I am very grateful that she did. I went to Will’s intro talk and was convinced especially after hearing personal experience of others with Beeja meditation. As I was looking to start meditating again I signed up for the course straightaway. I have been meditating for just over 2 months now and experienced its tremendous benefits already. I am soooo relaxed, calm and NOT stressed at all. Even if I wanted to its not possible :0) I organised a demanding work event recently. Usually I would stress beforehand and panic a little bit but the event made me realise how relaxed I was and how the meditation is working already. I have done lots of meditation in the past and have been meditating for a good amount of years. I absolutely love Beeja meditation. It’s very different from what I did previously. I love the freedom of the practise and how easy going it is. You are sitting comfortably anywhere you want on whatever you want. I usually use a sofa or a chair with your back supported. If I am rushing in the morning I can catch up on my med later on in the day on the train, in the park etc. You don’t have to focus on not to be thinking. You can just let the thoughts flow, process them and get back to repeating your personal mantra which helps you easily to get to meditative state. How easy compared to what I did before! I was happy to drop sitting in a cross legged position for 10-20 minutes avoiding also painful arm positions. I am grateful for my previous practices which helped on many different levels and benefited me greatly. But it also gives me the opportunity to make a comparison. All meditation practices are unique it’s just up to us which one we pick and which one will suit us the most. I found mine and Beeja meditation is the winner! Thank you Will, Jess and my friend. "

"My friend Mat had been doing this meditation for a long time and kept telling me I should do it, but for some reason I just couldn’t understand how it worked or how it could be good for me. Having finally decided to take the course, I can genuinely say that Will really did change my life. Initially, nothing immediate or that profound arose, but over time I am seeing my considerable positive changes in my life. I have more energy, I sleep better, my thinking is much clearer and I am way, way happier. The reason I came to Will was because I had recently been diagnosed with something called Meniere’s disease, a condition that is apparently related to stress and lifestyle issues. Since I’ve been meditating twice a day, I am no longer feeling many of the effects of the condition. It hasn’t gone away entirely but I now feel I have an ability to control situations again. I feel better able to manage myself and the anxiety that I have been experiencing for some time. I am also feeling so much more creatively inspired. All my life I have wrestled with ‘peace of mind’.  My mind is a chaotic monkey mess at the best of times and I have been renowned for being rather scatter brained. Couple this with a few rough years it produced someone who always felt like he was teetering on the edge and so sought solace in a hard living, wholly unsustainable, party lifestyle.   And I was very good at it too! Along came Beeja Mediation and after two months, internally at least, I barely recognise that person anymore.   As the weeks role on I feel that the real me that has often sat in the corner cowering at the bombastic party me is slowly and confidently coming to the fore.   The calm is bliss.  The two mini holidays each day a day feel like a total luxury.  I need less validation from the outside world, feel like I’m rebuilding myself piece by piece and am more equipped to cope with the insanity of modern first world living and the overwhelming tsunami of information blasted at us daily.  ‘Likes’ be damned. I actually very much like myself now.  And that is worth all the cyber thumbs up in the world. On top of that I can concentrate for hours, I’ve resumed my love of writing, stopped drinking , made peace with vexing people in my life and can pretty much organise rats at a crossroad now.    The benefits just keep popping up In the most surprising  places.  It’s an exciting journey to see what part of me is going to get better and shinier.

He has such a depth of knowledge and understanding of meditation and Beeja wisdom that he shares with his students and he combines this beautifully with passion and gentleness. Firstly, thank you so much for having me. I really loved it and it surpassed all my expectations. I know I’m probably still in the honeymoon phase when it’s all new and exciting and, to be honest, I’m a bit scared of acknowledging any benefits in case it doesn’t last but here goes…
I’ve found the meditations really soothing and I actually look forward to them. I’ve done one on a crowded train, a couple on a park bench and I’ve now got in the habit of meditating in the car before walking my dog in the morning which I love because usually I’m meeting someone to walk with so its just a nice calm time beforehand. I have missed a couple of evening ones just because time has run out.
I find it incredibly comforting having this new tool to combat my anxiety and (sometimes quite obsessive) repetitive barrage of negative thoughts. I still struggle with letting them spiral but I feel it’s making me calmer on the inside. I was hoping it would make
me less inclined to reach for the wine bottle in the evening but that hasn’t happened yet!
A wonderful side effect (which I could have worked out for myself but never did) was going to bed earlier. I can find evenings at home terribly unsettling and pace the house trying, and rarely succeeding, to find something to make me relax and I now realise that I can just go to bed! It felt like the evening was a sort of marathon I had to get through and now I understand that 10.30pm is a perfectly reasonable time to go to bed and read my book.
The thing I also love about meditating with a mantra is that it feels in a weird way like a sort of brain massage. The word just becomes a rhythm and it feels like the opposite of a headache – a sensation in your head but a nice one.

I’m so grateful for meeting Will and Jess, because with this meditation I’ve learnt to be gentle with myself which was really unusual.
To go further I’ve done the week-end retreat which was incredible. I’ve experienced tolerance, acceptance, understanding of people and love them as they are. "I tried Transcendental Meditation with a different teacher about a year ago but, along with several of the other students, I had been very unhappy with the methods and instructions we were given. "I loved loved loved Will’s beginners meditation course. I came away super motivated to practice twice a day every day without fail, and so far its worked brilliantly 🙂 I had been practicing mantra meditation for about a year using a brain entrainment programme called Lifeflow meditation. It consisted of listening to audio tracks designed to affect our brain wave patterns. Over the weekend that I learned Beeja meditation I realized that I had been missing out certain essential things from my meditation practice and it was also obvious that this new mantra was way more effective that the one I got online. On the third night of the course I slept deeply and completely for most of the night which is a new experience for me. My sleep patterns for the last 15 years have been broken; I have been used to waking up repeatedly during the night every night. Each night since the course I have had the same deep sleep for around 6 hours and then light sleeping for whatever time I have left in the morning. Even though I was previously able to fall back to sleep quickly, now that my sleep pattern has changed so dramatically for the better, I realize how much I was missing of the deep sleep phases of the sleep cycle. On those occasions when I have had some negative emotional experience in life, instead of my usual reaction where I try and escape into a film or something, I simply felt that it was ok to feel these things and it no longer caused me any agitation! I have also noticed that my awareness of other people has increased. I am noticing people’s facial expressions are more animated than I ever realized. During my meditation I have noticed that I tend to wave into and out of a deep state between 1 and 4 times in each meditation, which is exactly what Will said would happen in the course. I find that the practice feels more beneficial when I hear the mantra as a deep guttural sound instead of the lighter, more high pitched sound that my previous mantra took on. This seems more primordial somehow. During the meditation I have felt occasional waves of something familiar, feelings that I recognize from my past but that I haven’t been able to access to for a very long time. Feelings such as freedom and wonder and hopefulness, feelings that feel like they’re hovering about me waiting for me to remember. I feel like I have been looking for diamonds all over the place, I am slowly remembering that I need only to look inward to find them. "

"I first met Will and Jess in February 2015 and how life has changed since then! Following a weekend course where Will shared with the group all there is to know about the Beeja mediation practise, I left on that Sunday afternoon with a 50 : 50 blend of apprehension and excitement. Thereafter, as I practised each day and got deeper into my mediation, apprehension quickly dissolved and excitement built! The beauty of this technique (I think anyway) is its’ simplicity. 20 mins twice a day and you are good to go! My life seems clearer and calmer and less confused since that February weekend - a new perspective on life if you will. So compelled was I with my new teachings that I convinced my wife to attend a course in May. She is now practising daily also and just as passionate about Beeja mediation as I am! So much so that we have since taken our two children along to see Will and they have now started meditating also (I kid you not!!!) "I have to say I didn’t expect it to have such an impact on me so soon. It’s made me realise the extent to which my body and mind were all over the place and out of sync. Each time I meditate my nervous system is buzzing all over my body, almost like pins and needles but without the awkwardness…..a very nice experience! Also when I’m not meditating I get the sensation and it makes me think my nervous system needs a LOT of resetting and it feels like it is smoothing out very quickly.. Every time I used to make lunch or wash up etc. I would put the radio on for company as I wasn’t comfortable with my own thoughts. "I have been mediating for about 2 months and since doing so I have noticed a dramatic change in the levels of stress that I feel on a daily basis. I really look forward to sitting down to do them as they help me to feel more balanced than I ever have. I have battled with an eating disorder for 5 years and although I have managed to make progress alone, the meditation has enabled me, almost immediately, to think in a much more rational way, helping me to cope with all the things that used to trigger my self destructive behaviours. The meditation really works! On Friday I came to the US. I only had 1:30 hours of sleep. The flight left at 3:00 am. Arrived at Fort Lauderdale at 7:00 am. I was not able to sleep on the plane, though I did my meditations.
Then I took a car and had to drive for 3 more hours. On the middle of the journey I was falling asleep. Stopped at a service plaza on the turnpike, did a 20 mins meditation and I was as fresh as a lettuce!!! Amazing!!!  I’ve also not experienced jet lag on intercontinental flights.

"I am very grateful to discover Beeja Meditation through a talk which Will did at our University. Initially, I actually went to the session with an intention of doing a meditation session as I didn’t realise until later that it was an introductory talk only. I found Will’s talk very interesting, positive and just seeing Will’s passion about it and all the benefits that this type of meditation brings, I really wanted to learn more and so I decided to sign up for the intensive weekend course. Also, for some time I have been looking for a kind of meditation which I can easily incorporate into my daily routine and be consistent with (as I’ve tried a few) and until now I haven’t found one. I really enjoyed the intensive weekend course with Will, who is very knowledgeable and a great teacher, we learned how to mediate, discovered a lot of interesting information about how the mind works and the benefits of the meditation, and it was very interesting and re-assuring to see that the group seemed to experience similar sensations during and after the early days of the Beeja meditation. Today, it’s been over 3 weeks since I started the meditation but so far it’s been positive and I am really enjoying. I actually look forward to doing the meditation (first thing in the morning) and then just before I go home after work (as I was lucky to discover a little meditation room at our Regent Street building). Especially the afternoon session feels really nice, my tension headache goes away, and I go home feeling nice and not so tired. It feels like a reward to me for a busy day’s work. I noticed that I am more productive at work, more focused and generally I feel less stressed. It’s still early days but so far it has been a definitely very positive experience and I am looking forward to the future with Beeja meditation. I am very grateful to Will and for incorporating the Beeja meditation into my life. It’s so easy to include it in a daily routine and now I do it so automatically that it doesn’t feel like I have to force myself to do it or struggle to find a time, as it just became a part of my everyday life. "I met Will in an era of my life which was not particularly sunny. He introduced me to Beeja meditation about a year ago. I had sought help from a variety of different institutions and professionals all ending with unsatisfactory results. For me the only other option was medication or to turn inwards. "Around 6/7 months ago I started to suffer from severe anxiety / panic attacks. At first they were relatively infrequent but over time they became closer and closer together until I was living with constant anxiety. I was incapable of spending any time alone which in turn led to a period of very dark depression. Despite this, I was proactive about trying to get better and started searching out absolutely every treatment I could find: individual / group therapies, guided meditation, yoga, exercise and acupuncture to name a few. They all helped a small amount in the short term but more as a distraction. I was open with those around me about the way I was feeling and a very close friend suggested Beeja meditation. Obviously I jumped at the chance to try something new, took the beginners course and almost instantly began to feel better. In all honesty, meditation was the only thing that really touched the sides. As I felt the positive effects so quickly, I went on a weekend retreat which fast tracked my recovery even further. I cannot recommend meditation enough, it lifted me out of a very dark place and changed my life for the better. "

I embarked on the weekend course and have found the technique so simple and easy to do from day to day. I knew it was important for my self development, but I also felt that I needed to find my “key” to a way forward. With so many different classes and approaches, I felt lost and reluctant to make the wrong decision. I needed to stop, and I needed to listen, and I needed to trust. I had already contacted Will at then end of 2014 and was considering this option. I looked at the cost and hesitated, was I again flailing around and not really knowing what I was doing?….another half hearted attempt to “walk the talk”. But then I relaxed. Something seemed right, something felt right. Synchronicity also played its part, and I found myself attending the course. "Firstly, what makes this form of meditation so great is that it’s so easy to do and I cannot imagine anyone not being able to get the hang of it. My interest in Beeja meditation is to help me develop my intuitive side and to help my teenaged daughter, who is on the autistic spectrum, to relax and so to lessen her symptoms such as sensory overload and to make processing information easier. The most motivating thing of all is just how quickly results can be seen. I had a very difficult decision to make and, after about two weeks, I was able to see things in a different way and my clarity of vision had changed to allow me to see things more clearly and I am pleased to say that in the next few weeks I was able to make my decision. As for my daughter, she is beginning to be more relaxed and her communication has certainly improved. "“It’s amazing how your life changes when you embrace the reality that you are better than the life you have settled for” (S.M). I do not have enough words to explain how much I have gained from these 8 hours of beginner course. It’s impossible to explain unless you try it. Life-changing? Yes, life changing, that’s the only reductive adjective that can partially describe this intense 8 hours. It’s just not a matter of starting to change the way you live the busy life our society pushes us to do, that is just a consequence, that is just brain. It’s a matter of changing the way you see (brighter), you feel (stronger and more intense), you smell, you touch, you perceive the world around you. You suddenly realize that everything was already around you but you were blind, deft, your senses neurologically impaired to realize that you were just missing the true sense of life. And once you know that, you are able to let it go, to leave, nothing is going to be taken or stolen if that is for you, you can surrender, trust and open yourself without the risk of being stolen, ignored or left alone. That is relief. We do not need to keep everything close to us, we do not need to stop breathing to go faster, we do not need to pay attention to all those small things we thought were crucial for our life but actually are useless and meaningless, as the true ourself is just inside us and it reflects its image in all the things we touch, we see, we smell. This is why, I believe, I am now starting to see how my life was intoxicated by stress and all around me appeared to be dark, grey, ruined. I am starting to make myself bright from inside and things around are turning into a brilliant color as a response, it was all inside me. That hot feeling around my heart after every meditation, that healing process is starting to take place. My heart was close, no way to get in touch with it. And this is just the beginning, the way is long but step by step will reach the mountain. Thank you Jess, as your eyes sparkling and becoming full of true tears when telling us the story of the prisoner feeling for the first time someone was trusting him, have been the most real, genuine and loving act you could give us. We are all prisoners, all locked, all scared, we have all forgotten what trusting means, and for the first time I realized that you have been able to give us the tools we need to re-start believing we deserve peace. We now have them and we are prepare to not judge and just have faith in ourselves. "

"I was suffering from severe stress and anxiety for the past four years due to problems work and an unhealthy relationship. "I know Will and decided to try out his meditation class as I had heard so many good reports about his teaching techniques, this was despite my being sceptical and thinking it would involve sitting cross legged and chanting. All I can say is that what I had heard was so true, he is a wonderful teacher and there is no chanting or sitting cross legged, in fact you can do this type of meditation practically anywhere at any time. I started practicing meditation earlier this year and it has so far exceeded my expectations. The simplest way to describe what happens when I meditate is by comparing it to turning a computer off and back on again. All the clutter and noise in my head stops and I become aware of some immediate changes within myself: I feel more alert yet more relaxed, I have a greater attention span and can start to appreciate my surroundings in an entirely different way. The end result has been a much happier me.
I would urge those with even the faintest curiosity about Beeja Meditation to pursue it. The process of learning is entirely culturally unchallenging – there is no singing, no lotus position and no religious agenda. You will not be asked to question your own beliefs but invited to learn from your own experience. I should also point out that this form of meditation is very different to other types of meditation I have been taught in the past such as mindfulness.

As a health care practitioner I am also interested in the objective benefits of practicing Beeja meditation. While still a relatively new area for research, a growing amount of empirical evidence supports this technique as a way of reducing blood pressure, helping stress related disorders and improving our sense of self. "Having suffered from insomnia on and off for several years, I used to rely on ‘quick fixes’ – almost always involving pharmaceuticals – to alleviate periods of high stress, anxiety and insomnia. 3 weeks ago, following a very bad insomnia crisis which was going on for several weeks, I decided to change my strategy and see if I could tackle these issues from a completely different perspective – I needed to find a way to ‘calm my mind’. I came across Will’s meditation website and after reading a few of the reviews, I signed myself for a free intro talk. I have to admit, up until then, I considered myself a rather skeptical/cynical person, perhaps due to my science/medical background, but after attending the free talk, it didn’t take me long to leave my skepticism behind and book myself to a 3 day course starting the day after. The way the course was conducted, particularly the way every question was explained, really appealed to me. Every word had a meaning and one that made absolute sense! The group discussions were very engaging and I feel I could relate a lot to what was being discussed. From the day I started meditated, my sleep improved dramatically. I have now been meditating for just over 2 weeks and I feel a much more positive, less anxious and happier person. Will and his team are so lovely and very approachable. The support provided after the course is again exceptional. I have been attending group meditation sessions on a weekly basis which I find them rather special: great energy and you have the opportunity to meet amazing people and hear their journey/share experiences.
