Hello Campers,

Hope you are well and that your vedic meditation is going beautifully. There are plenty of other benefits of meditation as well.

A somewhat briefer instalment for you today, but hopefully no less thought provoking.

Firstly, I want us all to ask ourselves the question, do we agree that a person should not be subjected to prejudice or abuse for being born a certain way? Take a minute to consider your answer…..

I’m imagining most people are in agreement with the above statement, which is why I find it so intriguing that people born into money are frequently disparaged, mocked and generally treated as if they are game for criticism, and I’m wondering how that’s in any way consistent?

The only explanation I can find is that it is envy dressed up as social conscience, which is such a stain on the human condition. If we preach that we should take everyone at face value, let’s practise that across the board, without their birth status having any major influence about how we feel about them. Perhaps we can bring the light of awareness to our commentaries and behaviours towards others, and maybe today we can say to ourselves…’may I not let envy get in the way of me being a fair and open hearted human being’.

Stay cool Groovers
