Here we are in the glories of India, taking a break after what has been a ridiculously busy year. It feels like we’ve rolled all our weekends into one extended break and our bodies are singing in thanks.
This brings us nicely to the subject of dynamic rest. At least one of our newsletters has extolled the virtues of not waiting, and it would be easy to infer from that that it is therefore all about being engaged in dynamic action. But that of courses misses the key activity of rest. Rest isn’t waiting and it isn’t for wimps as Gordon Gecko might have proclaimed, it is a vital component of living a balanced and fulfilled life.
